During the week-long workshop, we prepare our Big Read Leaders (local 8th, 9th, and 10th graders) to lead community-wide discussions of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451.  We will develop Leaders' academic and social confidence, expose them to a college campus, and expand their support networks. These meetings will provide a balance of work and play as we explore the beauty of reading and building community.
